About the Role: As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), you will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the efficient and effective management of all support services for MAG’s activities in Somalia, including Finance, Logistics, Human Resources, IT, Facilities Management, and Administration. Your responsibilities will include overseeing management systems, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of support service functions, ensuring program compliance with donor requirements, and providing support in risk management.
Skills and Qualifications
About You: To be a suitable candidate for this role, you should have international senior management experience, preferably with a humanitarian agency in a developing country. You should also possess a professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or the equivalent professional finance management experience. Your experience should cover overseeing complex financial planning, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting activities, as well as developing new business proposals and budgets. Additionally, you should have expertise in developing and overseeing finance, logistics, HR, and administrative management systems. Cultural sensitivity, adaptability to various cultural contexts, and the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels are also essential.
